Values, Intentions, Approach

This living declaration is deeply shaped by years of practice, discomfort, more practice and the collective wisdom of those I’ve worked alongside in community. This is also informed by the wisdom and works of adrienne maree brown, Alexis Pauline Gumbs, Sage Crump, Makani Themba, Malkia Devich-Cyril, INCITE! Women of Color Against Violence, Deepa Iyer, Arlene Goldbard, Ruha Benjamin, Sarah Jane Cervenak, Sloan Leo, bell hooks, Michelle Wallace, Sheila Preston, Leonardo Drew, Robin D.G. Kelley, Seth Godin, Urban Bush Women, and Vicky Noble—along with many others whose names may not be listed here but whose impact is felt in every word and intention of this work.
